With tasting notes of brown sugar, red fruit, and rooibos, and an excellent specialty score of 86, this coffee is cultivated primarily by female farmers, many of whom are now assuming ownership and stewardship of the land.

In Rwanda, smallholder farmers collaborate within cooperatives and utilise centralised wet-mills, known locally as washing stations. This structure provides essential shared resources and support, fostering a community-driven approach that helps farmers enhance the quality of their coffee. This cooperative system not only bolsters individual farmers who may be struggling but also serves as a proven methodology for sustainable growth and continuous improvement across farms.
