About Pact Coffee

Get To Know

Pact Coffee

Pact skips the coffee industry’s usual middlemen and goes directly to some of the world’s most talented smallholder farmers.

This way, it's the farmer, not market investors, that’s paid a premium price, and you get access to a high quality of speciality coffee rarely seen in the UK.

The Pact Coffee

Impact

Last year, certified B Corporation Pact Coffee paid farmers, on average, 46% more than the Fairtrade base price. 45.9% of its coffee is sourced from women or gender equity groups, and 54.9% was from rural-poor farms.

This direct-trade sourcing makes a significant social impact at the coffee’s origin – like backing reforestation projects, vital nutritional support for farming communities, development of climate-resistant varieties, and much more.

Coffee

Quality

This isn’t charity. Because, for Pact, these are mutually beneficial relationships with the farmer.

Pact’s coffee is 100% speciality grade. Speciality coffee, by definition, must be scored a minimum of 80 points from a 100 by professional tasters – and all Pact coffee is at least 84 points or more. For Pact, it’s the fine wine of the coffee world, and it’s a big leap up in quality
